Mama duck and babies
These ducks were walking down the center divide of a ten lane freeway. How did those ducks get there? How will they get safely away from there with so much traffic?
Freeway collapse
A section of freeway in the Oakland maze collapsed after an oil tanker went over the edge. The fire that ensued was so hot it melted the steel structure of this overpass. Fortunately it happened at 3:45 in the morning when there was little traffic.

Phoning tech support
Isn't it great to have a sister around who can fix your computer! Lindsay's laptop was having a problem and Jessica called tech support to try and fix it. Tech support wasn't helpful, but Jessica went on line to figure out the problem and fix it.
Jessica
Getting ready to show us the video she brought on Africa. We got to view what last year's missionaries did, and this gave us an idea of what Jessica will be doing when she goes to Uganda this summer.
Lindsay
Getting in to drive her new car. She got a Hundai Elantra. She was all smiles all afternoon and evening.

Fish jumping over each other
The canal fish were quite active today, jumping and splashing and frisking about. Even Murray was fascinated. Heading upstream to spawn?
Gary and Neal look over the robot
Safety glasses must be worn in the pits at all times. This competition is taking place at UC Davis, in a nice building that wasn't here when we attended.
