Emergency Room where Lindsay ended up after injuring her knee while moving in

This was the hospital in Santa Cruz that they took Lindsay to after she injured her knee. This hospital had horrible bedside manners and did an awful job with the brace they put on. The doctor implied that Lindsay must be a drug user that she was not responding to the pain medication they gave her. After they got done shoving her out the door in pain, we went to straight to Valley Care Hospital in Pleasanton, where we got much better treatment and they made a better split for her leg that actually worked. There was no way we could even get her out of the car and into the house with the brace that the Santa Cruz hospital gave her.

This machine ices Lindsay knee. We have to keep replenishing it with ice.

Lindsay with her knee flexing machine

Lindsay had knee surgery for a torn ACL. She has to use this machine that flexes her knee for two hours three times a day. They gave her the special socks to wear as well to prevent embolisms.
